Wanted Codes (October 2026)

The previous month’s list was roughly twice as long, and almost all of the difference came from one batch.

The batch that dropped

The 2026 update codes went together: LAUNDER, EVIDENCE, POLICE, FIREWORK, SAWNOFF and PITY all expired in the same sweep.

That pattern is normal. Developers retire the previous update’s strings when the next one ships, so codes from the same patch tend to die on the same day.

What did not drop

The 2025 launch set survived: DEVV, WANTED, UZI, BOOM. Those are anniversary and developer codes rather than update codes, which is why they outlast everything around them.

The one exception

FRAG, from March 2026, also survived. It is the only update code that made it through, and no source explains why.

What to take from it

If you are reading an archived list, discount everything tagged as an update code. The launch and milestone strings are the ones still standing a year later.
