Fling Things and People Codes Do Not Exist: Here Is Why

FTAP has never had a code system. Two games with similar names do — and that is exactly how the fake lists keep getting made.

Fling Things and People Codes Do Not Exist: Here Is Why

Fling Things and People has been live since June 2021, has passed three billion visits, and has never shipped a code. That is not an oversight in a game this successful — it is what happens when the economy is built entirely on one machine.

Three places a code box would be, and the three that are empty

Settings has no Codes button. Chat does not recognise /redeem and will simply post your string as a message. The Toy Shop has no voucher field — you can browse it top to bottom and there is nothing to type into.

The developer Horomori also runs no official social channels where codes would be announced, which closes the loop. A game can quietly have codes without a Twitter account, but it cannot have codes without a place to enter them.

The names that cause the mess

Two other experiences are responsible for almost every fake FTAP code list:

Launch Things And People is a separate game that genuinely has codes. Untitled Fling Game is another one, also with codes. Both are close enough in name that a scraper pulling page titles will merge them, and once one site has merged them, the next site copies the merged version.

The tell is simple: a real code list names the experience and usually the place ID. A merged list just says “Fling Things” in the heading and never specifies which one it means.

Where the economy actually sits

Coins come from Coin Machines, scattered across every map. Each one has a cooldown of roughly fifteen minutes and the cooldown is tracked per machine, so the efficient play is a route between several rather than camping a single one.

Buy the cheapest Toy first. A cheap pallet you can actually throw beats an expensive board you are still saving for, and most maps are full of loose props that fling just as hard as purchased toys anyway.

The one honest shortcut

There is no code, but there is a genuine shortcut: the world itself. Every prop on the map is flingable, and none of them cost Coins. Players who spend their first session learning which scenery items have the best mass-to-speed ratio progress faster than players who grind the machines.

That is the actual progression system in FTAP. Not strings. Physics.

Redeem in 30 seconds

  1. 1Join a server and find a Coin Machine. Every map has several, usually near spawn and along the edges.
  2. 2Spin it. The cooldown is roughly fifteen minutes per machine, and it is per machine, so a route between several beats camping one.
  3. 3Buy the cheapest Toy in the shop first. A cheap pallet you can actually throw beats an expensive board you are still saving for.
