FTAP Coin Machines: The 15-Minute Cooldown, Explained

Every coin machine in Fling Things and People has its own 15-minute cooldown. Running a route beats camping one by a wide margin.

FTAP Coin Machines: The 15-Minute Cooldown, Explained

The most common question about Fling Things and People is how to get Coins faster. It is also the question with the most misleading answers online, because half of those answers involve a code box that does not exist.

Here is the mechanical version.

Cooldowns are per machine, not per player

This is the detail almost nobody states, and it changes how you play. A Cooldown is attached to the specific machine, not to your account. Spin machine A, walk to machine B, and B is ready immediately.

That means the efficient loop on any map is a circuit, not a camp. Most maps place machines near spawn and along the edges, close enough that a full lap takes a few minutes — comfortably under the fifteen-minute window, so by the time you return to the first one it is ready again.

What to spend on first

The Toy shop has a long tail of expensive items, and the temptation is to save for something impressive. Do not. A cheap pallet you can throw right now beats an expensive board you are still saving for, because the limiter on your fun is not damage or range — it is having anything at all in the throw slot.

Once you have a cheap projectile, the map itself supplies the rest. Loose props are everywhere and none of them cost Coins, so a player who learns the scenery out-earns a player who grinds for a better toy.

Is the Earn More Coins pass worth it

Only if you spin a lot. It adds a flat bonus per spin rather than multiplying everything, so its return scales with how many machines you reach per session, not with how long you play.

A player running a proper circuit reaches several machines per lap and gets real value. A player who logs in, spins once, builds something and logs out gets almost nothing.

The honest summary

There is no code in this game. There is a fifteen-minute per-machine cooldown, a shop where the cheapest item is usually the right first purchase, and a map full of free projectiles. That is the whole economy, and it has not changed since 2021.

Redeem in 30 seconds

  1. 1Join a server and find a Coin Machine. Every map has several, usually near spawn and along the edges.
  2. 2Spin it. The cooldown is roughly fifteen minutes per machine, and it is per machine, so a route between several beats camping one.
  3. 3Buy the cheapest Toy in the shop first. A cheap pallet you can actually throw beats an expensive board you are still saving for.
