TDS Codes in September: The Batch Cycle

September ended with this game holding a small handful of working strings, as it has at the end of most months since 2021.

How the cycle behaves

Each event, anniversary or player milestone ships a code or two. The previous set retires when the new one lands, which is why the expired archive is 84 entries deep and the live list is three.

Reading a list for this game therefore needs a date on every string. A list without dates is a list of history.

What people get wrong

The most common mistake is testing 2023 strings because a page still ranks for them. Those pages were accurate when written and were never updated; the strings died in the batch after theirs.

The second is assuming a crate code is worth less than a skin code. Crates here contain tower skins, so the difference is presentation, not value.

Looking ahead

October’s batch brought a named skin and a community milestone. Both fit the pattern: event-driven, short-lived, and worth claiming on the day you read about them rather than later.
