Ride A Pet in September: No Codes, Still
September came and went without a Ride A Pet code, as every month since launch has. How the game rewards players instead.
Ride A Pet in September: No Codes, Still
By September the game had been live for five months with no promotional string and no sign of adding one.
A deliberate omission
Adding a code system is not hard. Games do it constantly, usually to revive a sagging player count. Ride A Pet instead leaned on two systems that were there from launch: gifts and the Index.
That choice says something about the design. Codes reward attention to social channels; the Index rewards actually hatching pets. This game pays for the behaviour it wants.
What September added
Content rather than strings. Update 4 shipped early in the month, and with it the usual wave of egg and mutation changes that players actually care about.
The Halloween update followed in October, again without a code.
Reading the absence
When a game this size has never issued a code, the useful conclusion is not “wait for one” but “stop checking”. The rewards are in the Index panel, and they are larger than a code would be.
Redeem in 30 seconds
- 1Join the game and like it; the gift menu pays for that and for group membership.
- 2Open the Index panel and claim cash for every pet species you have hatched.
- 3Buy Hatch Luck at your plot board before spending on cosmetics.
