Piggy in September: Events, Not Codes
September passed without a single Piggy code, as every month since the field closed has. What the game gives instead, and how its economy works.
Piggy in September: Events, Not Codes
By the end of September 2026 the game had gone roughly four years without issuing a redeemable string. That is not neglect; it is a design choice, and the reward loop was rebuilt around it.
The loop that replaced codes
Rounds pay coins. Coins buy cosmetics. Chapter completion pays badges, and badges unlock items outright rather than renting them for a season.
That structure removes the thing codes are usually for. A code is a shortcut for new and returning players; Piggy instead made the first clear of each chapter the shortcut, which is why the badge list functions as its own progression chart.
Why the archives still rank
Because search demand outlives the feature. Pages from 2020 still surface, still list strings, and still get clicks from players who do not know the field is gone.
The useful skill is recognition: if a list mixes in Cosmic Coins, Orb rewards or a Basement Robby skin, it is describing Branched Realities. If it promises “1,000 coins” for the original game, it is describing nothing that exists.
What September actually brought
Seasonal content, as usual — event panels rather than strings. For a player the practical answer is unchanged: badges first, shop second, and no time spent testing dead strings.
Redeem in 30 seconds
- 1Check you are in the original Piggy, not Piggy: Branched Realities — the map list on the title screen tells you.
- 2Open the shop from the lobby to see which cosmetics are purchasable with coins.
- 3Play rounds to earn coins; chapter completions pay the most per minute.
