Nine years after launch, Adopt Me still hands out codes — just not the way most lists imply. October 2026 has a single string in circulation, it pays a sticker rather than Bucks, and the two trackers that cover this game disagree about whether it is alive.

Why two trackers disagree

RoCodes added PROUDFROG on October 29 and rates it working. Roblox Den re-tested every Adopt Me code in-game on October 30 and moved the same string to expired. Neither is guessing: one is reporting a submission, the other an in-game result.

When that happens we hold the code at pending rather than pick a side. The cost of trying it is one paste; the cost of publishing it as confirmed is a reader who trusts the next list we publish.

The pattern behind a tiny pool

Adopt Me is not stingy by accident. Its economy runs on pet scarcity, and a code that hands out Bucks or pets would undercut the trading market that the whole game is built around. Look at what actually got retired: the 2024 strings paid 70 to 200 Bucks, and one hour of 2x Aging. Small, safe, and switched off within weeks.

The sticker era fits that logic. A cosmetic cannot destabilise a trade economy, so it can be handed out freely — which is also why the pool stays at one.

Where the kiosk is

Inside the Safety Hub on Adoption Island, the building with the grocery store on one side and the accessory shop on the other. It is not in the pause menu, not in settings, and not on the phone. Players who finish the tutorial and go straight to the menu conclude there is no code system, and that conclusion gets posted in a lot of comment sections.

Walk in, find the terminal against the wall, and interact.

What to do if it fails

Try PROUDFROG once. If the kiosk rejects it, the string is dead and the pool is empty until the next event — probably a Halloween or winter drop, judging by the 2024 and 2025 record. The seasonal strings have historically arrived in the last week of the month, which is exactly when this one appeared.

Do not bother with the older lists. M0N3YTR33S, ADOPTME2025, WINTERWOLF2024, HEARTDAY and BUCKS4YOU are all confirmed dead, and several of them keep circulating in videos from last year.
