Tower of Hell Codes: Ten Alive, and You Type Them in Chat

Tower of Hell has been running since 2018 and its code list looks nothing like a modern Roblox game’s. No menu, no redeem button, no expiry cliff — just ten strings, most of them over a year old, typed straight into chat.

The set

The chat thing is not a quirk

Redemption happens through the chat parser because that is how codes worked in 2018, before dedicated menus became standard. You click the chat icon top-left, type the string, press Enter. A confirmation appears if it parsed.

This produces a specific and very common failure mode: players read a guide that says “open the shop and find the code box”, look for it, find nothing, and conclude the game has no codes. The guides are describing a different obby.

Two of these are jokes

69 returns the word NICE and nothing else. It has never granted a reward, and it is on every list anyway because people keep reporting it as broken. FreezerMYW1F3L3FTM3 is the same idea dressed better — the string reads “Freezer, my wife left me” and the reward is a garbage bag plus a child support bill. Both are real items you can equip.

If a code confirms and your inventory does not change, check whether it is one of these two before assuming a bug.

The vault strings

69420 and 5164627 are different in kind. They do not drop items; they open things in the world. That makes them the two codes worth typing even if you do not care about cosmetics, because their effect is environmental and permanent.

They are also the two most commonly mis-copied, since neither has letters to anchor your eye.

Why the list is so old

Most Tower of Hell codes date from June 2025 and only one — XPHAPPY3AST3R!, a spring cosmetic — has expired. Cosmetic and content codes here massively outlive reward codes, because nothing about them breaks when the economy shifts.

The one genuinely valuable pending string is freemember, worth 36 hours of Membership. Roblox Den marks it unconfirmed, UrGameTips dropped it in October, older lists still show it working. Try it; do not plan around it.
